The mag drills come with gravity-fed coolant bottles and hoses, but we find them fussy to adjust; And they don't work well in vertical drilling situations: No vertical drop = coolant feed. Thus the paste lube. It always works.

To use it, you just stuff some into the annular cutter. As the cutter heats up, the coolant melts right onto the cutting teeth.

A couple of teaspoons worth does a full depth cut.
